Fall brings with it changes in the foliage, changes in the weather and changes in seasonal produce. There is a tendency to begin eating heartier meals like stews, chili’s and starchier carbs like squash. We are evolutionarily designed to eat seasonally and use these fall and winter staples to help us survive the colder temperatures when fresh fruits and vegetables are more scarce naturally. I went in search of some simple but delicious dishes from some of my favorite sources.
