Fries are awesome! And, Jicama Fries are no exception. Don’t know what jicama is? It’s a tuber found in Mexico that’s much more nutrient dense than your everyday potato. It’s super high in a few important vitamins like potassium and vitamin c while being relatively low in empty calories.

By the way, these fries pair perfectly with our DIY paleo ketchup.

Baked Jicama Fries

  1. 1 jicama, skin removed and sliced into thin strips
  2. Coconut or olive oil
  3. Seasoning of choice (maybe paprika, onion powder, garlic, cayenne, salt)
  1. Preheat oven to 425F
  2. Use a paper towel to pat dry the sliced jicama.
  3. In a bowl, coat with oil and seasoning.
  4. Place on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Each “fry” should be at least 1/2 inch apart.
  5. Bake for about 30 min (or until slightly brown), rotating halfway through
