Ranch is officially the most popular salad dressing in the United States. It’s so American that , in some countries, ranch flavoring is referred to as “American Flavor.” Hidden Valley was the very first brand of ranch and it’s still the most popular and iconic. That said, check out the questionable ingredients (yuck!):
The problem starts with the base ingredient, soybean oil (which is usually rancid, GMO, highly processed) and goes downhill from there.
We love the flavors in ranch, so we decided to create a real food, paleo version. It’s not EXACTLY like conventional ranch, but it’s very close and delicious. And, you’ll have the benefit of knowing that it’s great for you and your family!
