The Concept of Self-Limiting Exercise

If you can’t maintain postural alignment, you won’t be able to produce the movement. This gives automatic feedback so you know when to scale up or down. Many traditional forms of movement are like this: martial arts, dance, and traditional yoga. Choose qualitative movements over quantitative movements (100 sloppy air squats for time) in order to program better patterns and mechanics.
