How to make Cauliflower Hummus
Cauliflower hummus is a delicious paleo alternative to traditional hummus, which contains garbanzo beans. You may remember a previous post with this recipe. Everyone loved it so much, I decided to include in my Top 5 Cauliflower recipes. Just like traditional hummus, this Cauliflower version is very versatile. Make a great appetizer served wi4th fresh vegetables and your favorite Paleo cocktail!
Tasty hummus made from cauliflower and tahini instead of garbanzo beans.

- 1 head cauliflower, washed, cut into smallish pieces
- 8 oz tahini
- 2 garlic cloves (more if you like it super garlicky, but raw garlic can be strong)
- juice of 2 lemons
- 2 tsp ground cumin
- sea salt to taste
- Steam cauliflower until tender. Once it's tender, drain out any excess water. Then sauté in the pan until the cauliflower is drier.
- In your food processor or using your immersion blender, blend the cauliflower, garlic, lemon juice, cumin, tahini, and sea salt together until smooth. It should be tangy, garlicky, earthy, and delicious.
