The Ultimate Paleo Brunch

Brunch is really fun. But, all the fun foods are not available for those on a paleo, grain-free or gluten-free diet. 

Treat yourself sometimes.

Sure, scrambled eggs and bacon makes for an awesome for breakfast. But, why not treat yourself every now and then with some rich, paleo, classic brunch dishes? How about a Bloody Mary made from scratch with Paleo Worcestershire? Are we crazy? Maybe. But, these recipes are incredible and will surely “hit the spot” as far as brunch foods are concerned. 

 

Paleo Bloody Mary

Ingredients
  1. Bloody Mary with Bone Broth
  2. 1 qt. Tomato Juice
  3. 1 cup Tito’s Vodka
  4. 1 cup Beef Bone Broth
  5. 1 T. Horseradish
  6. 1 t. Celery salt
  7. Juice of 1 fresh lemon
  8. Juice of 1 fresh lime
  9. 1 t. Tobasco
  10. 1 t. Salt
  11. 1 t. Pepper
  12. 3 T. Paleo Worcestershire*
  13. Celery stalks
  14. Crisp slices of cooked bacon
Instructions
  1. Mix together 1 quart of tomato juice 1 cup of tito’s vodka, 1 cup of bone broth, 1 T. fresh horseradish, 1 tsp. celery salt, a few shots of tobasco sauce, 1 t. salt, 1 t. pepper, 3 T. paleo Worcestershire, and juice from 1 lemon and 1 lime. Pour over ice and garnish with organic celery stalk and bacon slices.

Ingredients
  1. *1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  2. 1/8 cup molasses
  3. 1/8 cup coconut aminos
  4. 2 tbsp honey
  5. 1 tbsp paleo fish sauce
  6. 1 tsp pepper
  7. 1 clove garlic
  8. 1 tsp onion powder
  9. 1/2 tsp chili powder
  10. 1/4 tsp ground clove
  11. 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  12. Juice from 1/2 lime
Instructions
  1. In a small saucepan, mix ingredients together and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and pour into a blender. Blend until smooth. Refrigerate.

Eggs Benedict

  1. 8 whole cage free eggs
  2. 4 Paleo On the Go Sweet Potato Biscuits
  3. 8 slices Pederson’s Bacon
  4. 1 T. Apple Cider Vinegar
Instructions
  1. To serve: split each biscuit crosswise and lay out halves on a plate. Break the bacon slices in half and place two halves on each biscuit piece. Rewarm the eggs briefly in the boiling water on the stove until cooked medium, which means the white is completely cooked, but the yolk is still liquid inside. Remove warm eggs from the water with a slotted spoon and place on egg on each biscuit half. Ladle a few tablespoons of hollandaise over each egg and serve immediately.

Paleo Hollandaise

Ingredients
  1. 6 cage free egg yolks
  2. 1 cup OMGhee, melted and hot
  3. 2 T. Apple Cider Vinegar
  4. 1 tsp. sea salt
Instructions
  1. In a small bowl, place the 6 egg yolks and the 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar, and blend with an immersion blender to mix well. Slowly drizzle in the hot melted ghee, 1/8 of a cup at a time, blending after each addition. When the entire cup of ghee is incorporated, you should have a rich creamy sauce.
  2. Add salt and blend well. Keep in a warm place while you assemble your eggs benedict.
