Last week Dave, Doug and I headed up to the greater Atlanta area to join Sarah Ballantyne, PhD for the release party and launch day of her new book The Paleo Approach Cookbook. We were delighted to be chosen to cater the event, during which roughly 100 people came out to FoxTale Book Shoppe, to have their books signed, meet Sarah, mingle among other Paleo Approach followers, taste our food and sample the fermented specialties like Kombucha, Kvass & Kefir brought out by other vendors. Sarah Ballantyne and Dave Rohde

Sarah had asked that we sample some of the recipes from her new cookbook to feature them at the event, as well as bring a few of our own AIP friendly specialties for the crowd to sample. We spent the days prior to the event testing her recipes in our POTG kitchens.

Our menu for the evening included our Lamb meatballs with Tzatziki sauce, our POTG plantain cakes, and the following recipes from Sarah’s newly released cookbook:

Whole Carrot Tabouleh (page 315)

Garlic Roasted Pork Shoulder (page 214)

with AIP Barbecue Sauce (page 124)

and Carob Ganache Mini Tortes (page 360) served with mixed berries

We had so much fun sharing our passion for high quality, delicious, paleo food with the crowd. We were able to hear the stories of many people for whom the Paleo Approach was changing their health, and found that many of the attendees were familiar with our meal plans and service.

We’re proud to be “Paleo Mom Approved” and a provider of Auto Immune Protocol Friendly meals as well as standard Paleo meals.  It was great to meet the guys from Ancient Awakenings and Cultured Traditions who provided the fermented beverages for the evening as well.
