The light that is given off by the screens is called “blue light” which our bodies interpret as morning sunlight, regardless of what time it is.

Study after study has shown that this blue light from smart phones and computers is linked to several types of cancer (breast, prostate), diabetes, heart disease, and obesity. Many phones and computers have settings that allow you to have your device automatically go into a safe mode in the evening.
