Add Avocado to Pesto For A Creamy and Delicious Sauce
For the most part, we don’t think of cooking with Avocado. We normally add it to salads or sandwiches, etc. In this pesto dish the Avocado adds a wonderful creamy texture and balances well with the fresh basil. Not to mention, it’s a great way to get the awesome macnutrient fat into your meal. The bonus is that you also don’t miss the cheese that would normally be a part of a traditional pesto.
